The grandfather’s beach in Tanintharyi, southern Myanmar is named after nearby grandfathers hill (Burmese: Popo Gau) and is a white and especially during the low season peaceful clean beach that stretches about 5 kilometers long. Grandfather beach is great to relax, do some swimming, take photos and enjoy the nature around you. It is a dream beach with clear turquoise waters and nothing around you except jungle.
There are some restaurants where you can eat delicious seafood that rent umbrella's and chairs.

How to get to Grandfather Beach
From Dawei (2.5 hours). The last part to the beach is only accessible by walking or motorbike.
